1984
Luís Eduardo da Cruz, then a medical intern at the Andaraí Hospital Burn Center (Rio), observes better clinical evolution with imported silver sulfadiazine and decides to investigate a domestic formulation.
1986
After 18 batches and 36 months, the formulation is validated at UFRJ Microbiology Institute. Dermazine® is completed and Silvestre Labs is founded as a dermatological pharmaceutical company.
2000s
Foundation of Cryopraxis Criobiologia Ltda, under the pioneering management of Simone Amaral da Silva Cruz (MBA COPPEAD-UFRJ), consolidating regulated cell cryopreservation services in the country.
2010s
CellPraxis is structured for clinical research and manufacturing of regenerative-medicine cell therapies, under the medical direction of Carolina Cruz, biologist and physician specialized in the field.
2024–2026
Silvestre Labs, Cryopraxis, CellPraxis and BioNK converge as an integrated ecosystem — from over-the-counter dermatology to NK-cell immunotherapy pipelines.
